What an awesome birthday surprise! Late last night, Jonathan Rhee, our senior managing broker, had sent me an email to say that I had achieved the #1 top selling realtor for Humber Bay Shores for Q1 of 2021 ranking for both the total combined units and the total selling dollar volume.
This means so much to me, especially during these times. I was one of the first realtors to specialize in this area all the way back in 1997, so I have seen Humber Bay Shores grow into this amazing community from the beginning.
Being a realtor then was not like it is now. People like @RyanSerhant truly changed the profession for the better by elevating the game using the new technologies of our time to showcase the eye candy of real estate, recognizing that the story drives the sale. This style of real estate spread around the globe bringing sexy back to a long beat up profession.
Best advice I ever heard was live and direct from Quincy Jones himself:
“In my view the people who achieve greatness in their chosen fields have a core skill upon which they expand. I’ve been driven all my life by a spirit of adventure and a criminal level of optimism. I believed in my dreams because they were my only option. The people who make it to the top – whether they’re musicians or great chefs or corporate honchos – are addicted to their calling. You have to honor the gift God has given you.”
